This focus area aims to pool data taken from a variety of distinct fields in order to better organize patient care, to introduce the topic of Cancer in disciplines that often neglect medical oncology and to pinpoint cross-disciplinary research themes.
The scientific project is built around 4 main subject areas:
- Cancer Epidemiology;
- SHS and Cancer;
- Patient Information, Decision making and Education;
- Cancer Care Engineering.
